Affirmative Action Policy – Midplan & Associates

  • Midplan & Associates is an affirmative action venture in terms of which the following basic principles are applied:
    • There is no discrimination in respect of race, colour or creed.
    • There is no discrimination in terms of religion.
    • There is no discrimination in terms of gender.
  • Midplan & Associates is structured as a small but focused consulting enterprise forming associations with other supplementary and complimentary disciplines and practices as and when project specific issues require such interventions and are specifically required for the well-being of the project and ultimately, the client.
  • In the consideration of the services of associates and / or personnel, the basic point of departure is to consider specific skills in respect of project specific issues, underlining the fact that the interests of the client must be best served.
  • Facilitate integrated participation of all in a previously one-sided and exclusive sphere of the economy.

This policy shall always be aligned with the principles and practices set out in the South Africa Constitution Act, 1996 (Act 108 of 1996). No deviations from or overrides of this primary legislation will be accommodated in the practice.
