What does “Midplan” mean?

Midplan means simply what the word indicates. It firstly is a combination of two words “mid” and “plan” with the first implying a centred or focused approach or mission. The second is derived from the word “planning”, the very essence of the practice. So, Midplan means a centred or focused approach in respect of all the fields of town and regional planning.

This philosophy is demonstrated by the logo of the practice where four coloured arrows focus on a centre point or middle point. The colours of the arrows and the centre point are also of significance in that these mirror the colours in the national flag of the Republic of South Africa.
